  • Pick the calculation add-in used in your target market (MagiCAD and Stabicad in the Nordics and Benelux, LINEAR and Nova in DACH, CYPE in Iberia and Latin America) rather than the one with the most features.
  • Always model with connectors and systems, never loose geometry; every downstream tool from clash detection to spooling depends on connected systems.
  • Keep one shared-coordinate setup per project and test it with a small IFC round trip before the first coordination meeting.
